The formula

Five actives, each with its own amount.

Every 1 mL of Skin Comfort+ contains 25 mg of nettle leaf, 25 mg of burdock root, 20 mg of chamomile flower, 30 mg of quercetin (from the flower bud of the sophora tree) and 20 mg of black currant seed oil. The label lists them one by one, with no "skin blend" total hiding the split.

That's the whole formula: three plants, a flavonoid and a seed oil, in vegetable glycerin and purified water with a natural flavour. Shake well before each dose.

Where the quercetin comes fromQuercetin is a flavonoid, a plant pigment found in many fruits and vegetables. This one is extracted from the flower bud of the Japanese pagoda tree, a standard commercial source.

What's inside

Five ingredients, each named and measured.

Botanical · Leaf

Nettle leaf

25 mgper mL

The leaf of stinging nettle (Urtica dioica), dried so the sting is gone. Long eaten in Europe as a spring green.

About Nettle leaf

Botanical · Root

Burdock root

25 mgper mL

The long root of burdock (Arctium lappa), a thistle-like plant eaten as a vegetable in Japan and used in European herbal tradition.

About Burdock root

Flavonoid

Quercetin

30 mgper mL

A flavonoid—a plant pigment—extracted from the flower bud of the Japanese pagoda tree (Styphnolobium japonicum), also known as the sophora tree.

About Quercetin

Together, they are the daily baseline behind Skin Comfort+: a daily liquid to help support seasonal skin comfort and healthy skin, given once a day with the measured dropper.

Dosing by weight

The dose fits the dog.

Once daily, using the measured dropper—directly into the mouth or mixed with food. Because the amount scales with weight, a Great Dane doesn't get a Chihuahua's dose, and one 60 mL bottle lasts anywhere from 24 to 120 days.

Step 1

Shake well

Before every dose. The seed oil needs mixing back in, so give it a proper shake.

Step 2

Draw the dose

Fill the dropper to the line for your dog's weight—0.5 mL to 2.5 mL.

Step 3

Give it

Directly into the mouth, or mixed into food. Provide fresh drinking water at all times.

Step 4

Make it daily

Once daily on an ongoing basis as part of a daily wellness routine, or as directed by a veterinarian.

Cautions

Do not use in immature, pregnant or lactating animals. Do not use in animals receiving other drugs unless directed by a veterinarian. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Do not use if the seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children. Refrigerate after opening.

Questions

Before it launches.

When will Skin Comfort+ be available?

Not yet. Skin Comfort+ is in development, and this page is a preview: the amounts, the dose chart and the price are all placeholders. Ordering opens when it launches.

Why these five actives?

Three plants—a leaf, a root and a flower—plus quercetin and black currant seed oil. Each has a long place in food or herbal tradition, and every amount is on the label.

Do I need to shake it?

Yes. Black currant seed oil is an oil in a water-and-glycerin base, so shake the bottle well before every dose.

Does it contain common allergens?

The final allergen statement is confirmed before launch. For now: the other ingredients are vegetable glycerin, purified water and natural flavour, and every active is listed on this page. If your dog has a known sensitivity, ask your veterinarian before using it.

Can I give it alongside medication or other supplements?

Please check with your veterinarian before combining it with medication or other supplements; it is not for use alongside other drugs unless a veterinarian directs it.

Is it for cats?

No. Skin Comfort+ is made for dogs.
